Real Madrid stars Vinícius Júnior, Rodrygo and Endrick had a tough time in the early hours with their Brazil side losing 1-0 against Paraguay.

Following the shocking defeat, Vinícius spoke to the media and apologized for both his performance and the overall performance of the rest of the team.

As per Marca, the forward said “I apologize to the fans. It’s been a difficult time but we’ll be back.” before adding “Let everyone go home now and think, to immediately reflect on what we have to improve, what we have to do to play well again.”

The 24-year-old completed only one of his four dribbles attempted during the World Cup qualification tie, and he lost possession 17 times.

Brazil find themselves within just one point of safety in their World Cup qualification group, and could drop out of an automatic qualification place should their poor form continue.

Brazil’s next match of their qualification campaign comes at the start of October when they will face Chile away from home on Wednesday 9th September.

Vinícius meanwhile will return to action with Real Madrid at the weekend as they head to San Sebastián to take on Real Sociedad on Saturday.
