Goal fails to save Madrid from another La Liga setback

Vinicius kept scoring… Madrid kept losing
Vinicius Junior scored for Real Madrid against Osasuna but his goal was not enough to avoid 2-1 defeat in La Liga.
Real Madrid suffered late setback on Saturday after losing 2-1 away to Osasuna in La Liga round 25 at El Sadar.
The home side took the lead in the first half when Ante Budimir converted penalty in the 38 minute. Real Madrid pushed for equaliser after the break and finally found it through Vinicius Junior.
In the 73 minute, Vinicius finished from close range after cross by Federico Valverde continuing his strong scoring form. However the Brazilian winger showed little celebration as Madrid struggled to control the match.
Madrid’s hopes of taking at least one point were crushed in stoppage time. Raul Garcia de Haro scored the winning goal in the 90+1 minute giving Osasuna dramatic victory and leaving Real Madrid empty-handed.
The defeat came despite Madrid’s improved attacking play in second half and marked another frustrating night for the Spanish giants in the league.
Even in defeat, Vinicius maintained his impressive run in February. The Brazilian has now scored in all four match he played this month finding the net five time in total.
He scored against Rayo Vallecano, Real Sociedad (twice), Benfica and now Osasuna. He missed the match against Valencia due to suspension.
According to Opta, Vinicius has outstanding record against Osasuna. He has been involved in 12 goal in 13 La Liga match against them scoring nine goal and providing three assist.
