Vitinha and Luis Díaz among the favourites for the Ballon d'Or

With the Champions League at the semi-final stage, GOAL has drawn up a shortlist of 20 names who, at this moment, appear to be the main contenders for the Ballon d'Or. In a season that also includes the 2026 World Cup, it is only natural that there is still room for a few surprises.

Even so, according to the international outlet, the three favourites are Harry Kane, Michael Olise and Kylian Mbappé. There is also room for three Portuguese players in the top 20: Vitinha (9th), Bruno Fernandes (16th) and Cristiano Ronaldo (17th).
