According to Nosso Palestra, Palmeiras held two training sessions on Friday 10 at the Academia de Futebol as their 2026 mid-season programme continued, and will play another training match on Saturday 11 morning against Juventus.
This will be their fourth activity without official games, after facing Mauaense and Primavera, plus an in-house run-out between first-team players and Crias da Academia.
Friday morning’s work began with technical drills focused on pressing triggers, then the players moved into small-sided games.
In physical transition, Vitor Roque joined part of the session as a neutral player, integrating with team-mates while his workload was controlled by the coaching staff and the Health and Performance unit.
In the afternoon the squad returned for recovery work and light recreational exercises on the pitch.
Leaders of the Campeonato Brasileiro, Palmeiras are using the pause to prepare for the remainder of the season. They return to competition on 22 July at 19:30 Brasília time against Coritiba at Couto Pereira in Curitiba, PR, in round 19.
