Vitor Roque’s agent receives fresh contact over Barcelona exit | OneFootball

Barcelona youngster Vitor Roque is the subject of a fresh approach, over a potential summer transfer.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Corinthians as the club to have made contact with the player’s entourage.

It is of course common knowledge that the future of frontman Roque remains firmly up in the air, ahead of the new campaign.

After failing to convince ex-manager Xavi of his qualities across his first six months at the club, it is unclear how the Brazilian is faring in efforts to achieve as much under the watch of Hansi Flick.

Those of a Blaugrana persuasion desperate to see Roque stay put for the campaign ahead, in turn, will no doubt be concerned by the latest word stemming from his home country.

As per Diario Sport, citing Brazilian sources:

‘According to ‘Tv Band’, Corinthians are looking for a striker and have reestablished relations with the player’s agent, André Cury. The Brazilians are focused on trying to convince both Barça and the player to recover his best form in the Brazilian league.’

Unfortunately for Corinthians, however, any such move is labelled as having ‘very little chance’ of actually coming to fruition.

Barcelona, on their end, see little benefit to Roque returning to Brazil on a temporary basis, keen on either a permanent sale, or a loan to a European club.
