Vitória get four back but miss eight for Corinthians clash Saturday

On the evening of this Saturday, the 25th, Corinthians faces Vitória at the Neo Química Arena at 4 PM (Brasília time), in a match valid for the 30th round of the Brazilian Championship. Currently, the Alvinegro is only in 11th place in the tournament, with 36 points (nine wins, nine draws, and 11 losses, along with 31 goals scored and 35 conceded).

The home team, however, is in the relegation zone of the competition, in 17th place, with 31 points. Nevertheless, they are coming off a victory away against Santos in the last round and have the return of four players available for coach Jair Ventura: defender Camutanga, midfielder Dudu, and forwards Erick and Renato Kayzer. All were suspended and did not play at Vila Belmiro.

However, eight other players are absent from the team this Saturday. Raúl Cáceres is suspended, while seven others are in the medical department – Edu and Fabri are recovering from muscle injuries, Baralhas is treating a left leg injury, Claudinho is dealing with a knee problem, Rúben Ismael and Fintelman are recovering from surgeries (knee ligament and left hip, respectively), and Jamerson is undergoing treatment after ankle surgery.

Thus, the probable Vitória team that Jair Ventura should field includes the following starting eleven: Lucas Arcanjo; Lucas Halter, Camutanga, and Zé Marcos; Paulo Roberto, Dudu (Willian Oliveira), Ronald, and Ramon; Erick (Matheuzinho), Aitor, and Renato Kayzer.
