Midfielder Vivian is easing back into Sereias da Vila training after suffering a lumbar transverse process fracture last month, with staff handling her return carefully. The expectation is that she will be available in July, when competitions resume.

According to Diario Do Peixe, the Santos women’s medical department is clearing, with full-back Carol Lara now training normally with the group and midfielder Rafa Andrade recovered from a thigh muscle injury. Attacking midfielder Ana Barboza has been cleared for some time and awaits her comeback after an ACL injury.

Marcelo Frigerio’s side have three weeks of training before competition restarts. Their first match back is against Taubaté on 17 July in the fourth round of the Paulistão F. The FPF and CBF have yet to release the detailed schedules for the remaining state and Brasileirão A-1 rounds.

In the state championship they are second-bottom, with two draws and one defeat, scoring three and conceding four. They still face Bragantino, São Paulo and Mirassol as they chase a semi-final place.

In the Brasileiro they sit 12th on 14 points, with three wins, five draws and four defeats, scoring 12 and conceding 15. Only the top eight advance to the knockout phase. Remaining opponents are América-MG, Juventude, Corinthians, Flamengo and Vitória.
