The Argentine’s 2026 campaign has been poor. If measured against Série A sides across all competitions, including the state championship, Santos would be bottom for points percentage this year at 36%, behind Vasco and Mirassol on 39.3%. Fluminense lead with 84.8%.

Counting matches from 2025 as well, Vojvoda’s overall return rises to 43.3%, edging predecessors Pedro Caixinha on 43.1% and Cleber Xavier on 42.2%. Both followed Fábio Carille, who won Série B with the club.

Hired in August last year, Vojvoda has nine wins, 12 draws and nine defeats from 30 games. In 2026, Santos have played 12 times, with three wins, four draws and five losses.

Across 2016 to 2026, Dorival Júnior leads the list with 63.41% from 92 games, followed by Jorge Sampaoli on 61.98% and Levir Culpi on 58%. Fábio Carille is fourth on 57%, with Cuca fifth on 49.7%.

Frequent changes have defined recent administrations, rising to 20 switches when repeat spells are counted. Beyond Série B, Santos’ last trophy was the 2016 Paulista under Dorival, while Sampaoli finished Brazilian league runners-up in 2019 and Cuca was Libertadores runner-up in 2020.
