Gianluigi Donnarumma and James Trafford have both been nominated for the Premier League's Save of the Season award.

All nine Save of the Month winners, plus one outstanding candidate from May, have been included in the public vote.

That means Trafford features for his acrobatic denial at Brighton back in August 2025.

With the Blues trying to hold on for a point in the closing stages at the AMEX, a deflected close-range effort from Jan Paul van Hecke looped up and looked to be going over the goalkeeper before he stuck out a left hand to claw it away.

Donnarumma is on the list for his debut stop to prevent Bryan Mbeumo in the Manchester derby.

With City 2-0 up at the time, Mbeumo struck a volley across goal sweetly from the right only for Donnarumma to throw up a right hand and divert it beyond his post.

Voting closes at midday on Wednesday 27 May with a winner to be revealed later this week.
