Rafael Leão, Mike Maignan, Luka Modrić or Samuele Ricci: which rossonero deserves to win the MVP award for October?
It's been a demanding month, which began in Turin and ended in Bergamo. October did not go too quickly, owing to the second international break of the season, but also the fact that AC Milan drew three of their four games. The Rossoneri dropped some points, often leaving a bitter taste, but did not lose, continuing the season in a serious manner and near the top of the Serie A table.

Leão was key in October and amongst the goals. His brace in our 2-1 win over Fiorentina helped us to a win and temporary top spot in the league, while his goal in AC Milan 2-2 Pisa opened the scoring on a difficult night. The Portuguese international had not scored at San Siro for 512 days prior and has taken the reins of the attack (in Pulisic's absence). Maignan, however, did amazingly to deny Gatti's attempt to give Juventus the lead in our 0-0 draw and won the battle with Zappacosta in a tense moment in the 1-1 draw with Atalanta. Two incredibly important stops to underline his essential role between the sticks. In terms of Modrić, it worth repeating one word. Certainty. At the Allianz Stadium, he took centre stage, from player to professor, showing his true class in the second half: from the long ball for the penalty to the brilliant pass for Leão. The Croatian has not missed a single second, and provided the assist for Athekame's last-gasp equaliser. Ricci is the player of the moment, as he showed great balance in scoring a brilliant goal at the New Balance Arena, allowing the side to resist the Dea's attack. He also provided the assist for Leão against Pisa. 180 minutes played from 180 minutes after the international break, replacing Rabiot, for the in-form and polished Italian midfielder.
