The autumn has been dramatic for us so far. Six competitive matches in October – including gruelling European nights and the Austrian Cup Round of 16 – saw our Red Bulls get pushed to their limits. Now it's time for you fans to choose your Player of the Month for October!

Sota Kitano

The Japanese player was often our driving force in attack in October with his tireless running and goal-scoring threat. His highlight was undoubtedly his star performance in the 3-0 away win against Austria Vienna, where Sota was instrumental in all three goals, even scoring one himself. In the Austrian Klassiker against Rapid Vienna, the whirlwind also scored the winning goal in a 2-1 win.

Alex Schlager

Our number one was the usual reliable presence in goal and withstood all kinds of pressure in October. He particularly shone in the home game against Rapid (2-1), where he secured the victory with a club-record tally of twelve saves. Alex also kept a clean sheet against Austria Vienna.

Soumaila Diabate

Our midfield workhorse is the epitome of stability and proved once again in October that he is the backbone of our team. As a defensive midfielder in front of the back line, intercepting countless balls, winning tackles, and therefore preventing plenty of dangerous counter-attacks, he has stood out as a quiet but indispensable hero in the middle of the park. Soumaila also scored a goal in the 2-1 home win against Rapid.

Edmund Baidoo

His speed and goalscoring instinct make him a constant threat. Eddie is also a man to deliver in the decisive moments. With his goals against Ferencvaros and SCR Altach, and his assists against Austria Vienna (x2), Rapid and Tirol, the Ghanaian amassed a total of six goal contributions in October.
