Guadalajara’s top scorer once again proved that he is a player built for the biggest moments. His greatest strength during CL26 was his ability to make the difference in high-pressure matches, scoring goals that proved decisive at key moments for the Rebaño Sagrado.

Whether in the Clásico Tapatío, the Clásico de México, or against direct rivals such as Pumas and Atlético de San Luis, “Hormiga” González delivered whenever Guadalajara needed him most. His goals were crucial in securing valuable points and reinforced his status as one of the Rebaño’s offensive leaders, while also earning him a place with the Mexican National Team ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Omar Govea

If there was one player responsible for bringing order to the Rojiblanco game, it was Omar Govea. His ability to control the rhythm of matches, distribute the ball intelligently, and connect the team’s different lines made him a fundamental piece of Gabriel Milito’s system.

In addition to his role in building play, he also delivered in crucial moments, such as his goal in the semifinal against Cruz Azul. His leadership, composure on the ball, and ability to dictate the tempo established him as one of the tournament’s most influential midfielders.

Raúl Rangel

Raúl Rangel once again confirmed why he is considered one of the best goalkeepers in Mexican soccer. The guardian of both the Rojiblanco goal and Mexico’s national team net heading into the 2026 FIFA World Cup, his saves in decisive moments helped Guadalajara secure valuable points throughout the tournament, highlighted by the penalty kick he stopped against Monterrey on Matchday 12.

Alongside his reliability between the posts, he added an impressive ability to contribute to build-up play from the back, making him a key figure in a system that demands precision from the first pass.

Diego Campillo

Versatility was one of Diego Campillo’s greatest strengths during CL26. The Rojiblanco academy product answered every time the team needed him, performing in multiple positions across the defensive line without sacrificing solidity or confidence.

His reading of the game, anticipation, and tactical understanding allowed him to become one of Milito’s most trusted players, bringing stability and balance to one of the most important areas of the field.

Roberto Alvarado

Roberto Alvarado was one of Guadalajara’s primary offensive creators. His intelligence in finding space, ability to break defensive lines, and chemistry with teammates made him indispensable within the Rojiblanco attack.

In addition to his playmaking contributions, he also delivered goals and assists in key moments, becoming one of the team’s most consistent attacking references. His excellent form with the Rebaño Sagrado has also kept him as an important member of the Mexican National Team set to compete at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Bryan González

Bryan González was one of Guadalajara’s driving forces on the wing. His constant attacking runs, relentless energy, and ability to provide width gave the team a reliable weapon going forward.

He also contributed goals and key actions in the final third, becoming a decisive figure within the Rojiblanco system and one of the team’s most dynamic players throughout the semester.

José Castillo

With a low-profile but highly effective style, José Castillo was one of Guadalajara’s most consistent performers during Clausura 2026. Whether on the left or right flank, the defender delivered solid performances marked by tactical discipline, intensity, and a remarkable ability to compete in individual duels.

His versatility and reliability made him a trusted option for the coaching staff and a key contributor to maintaining the Rebaño Sagrado’s defensive balance throughout the tournament.

Luis Romo

Captain and leader of Guadalajara, Luis Romo was one of the team’s most important figures during Clausura 2026. His tactical intelligence and versatility allowed him to perform in different positions while consistently providing balance, leadership, and solutions within Gabriel Milito’s system.

His experience and stature also earned him a place on Mexico’s final roster for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, a tournament he is set to play in for the second time in his career.

Brian Gutiérrez

Brian Gutiérrez brought creativity and unpredictability to Guadalajara’s attack. His technical ability, vision, combination play, and knack for creating danger near the opponent’s penalty area helped him gain prominence within Gabriel Milito’s system and establish himself as one of the players with the brightest future in the Rojiblanco squad.

The growth he displayed throughout the semester solidified his status as one of Mexican soccer’s top young prospects and earned him a place on the road to the 2026 FIFA World Cup with the Mexican National Team.
