The Senegalese Football Federation announced on February 19 the launch of the national women's team's first training camp in preparation for the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. This training camp will last for two weeks, starting on February 23 and running until March 7.

For this preparatory phase, coach Mame Moussa Cissé has called up 26 players from the Teranga Lionesses. In their fifth WAFCON appearance, the Lionesses have been drawn into Group A alongside Morocco (the host nation), Algeria, and Kenya.
