According to Coluna Do Fla, Wallace Yan struck two eye-catching goals in Leonardo Jardim’s first Flamengo training session at CT Ninho do Urubu on Wednesday.

The forward lifted the ball over Danilo with a sombrero then drove in a fierce right-footed shot. He also found the net with his left.

Jardim is known for trusting the academy in his senior sides. He was responsible for bringing through Kylian Mbappé and Bernardo Silva, which could benefit Wallace Yan.

His approach may also suit Wallace Yan. The Portuguese coach likes to use a more mobile centre-forward, as with Kaio Jorge at Cruzeiro.

With Wallace Yan available, Flamengo now prepare to face Fluminense at the Maracanã on Sunday at 18:00 Brasília time in the State Championship final.
