Walsall have confirmed that 12 players will leave at the end of the 2025-26 season, setting up a significant summer rebuild.

The club remain without a permanent successor to Mat Sadler, who departed in March after a run of two wins in 14. Interim coach Darren Byfield ended with four defeats in his final five League Two games, and Walsall finished 13th having led the division on Boxing Day.
