A pair of Barcelona stars were on Tuesday put through the club’s trademark ‘tunnel of slaps’ at the Ciutat Esportiva.

This came owing to their respective returns from injury.

Barcelona returned to the training pitch early this morning, amid ongoing preparations for an upcoming meeting with Real Oviedo.

Fresh off putting Getafe to the sword in confident fashion over the weekend, the Blaugrana will turn attentions towards newly-promoted Oviedo on Thursday evening.

The group on Tuesday featured several high-profile absences, including the likes of Gavi, Fermín López and Marc-André ter Stegen.

More positive news, though, was forthcoming in the form of the respective returns of Alejandro Balde and Pedro ‘Dro’ Fernández.

Both linked back up with Hansi Flick’s squad today, after recovering from respective muscular and foot injuries.

And as alluded to above, both were welcomed back into the group with a custom long made use of in Catalunya’s capital, the ‘tunnel of slaps’:
