A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona was responsible for a moment of absolute individual brilliance in training on Wednesday.

The player in question? Robert Lewandowski.

Frontman Lewandowski will of course be expected to play his part tomorrow evening, when Barcelona mark their return to action.

After blanking in both of the Blaugrana’s latest two outings, the Pole will set about getting his name back on the scoresheet in a La Liga meeting with Real Oviedo.

And safe to say, if the latest footage stemming from the Ciutat Esportiva is anything to go by, then Lewandowski appears to be doing all within his power to convince boss Hansi Flick to depend on him once more.

As showcased in the footage below, ‘Lewa’ stole the show in Catalunya’s capital on Wednesday, courtesy of a remarkable volleyed finish from a Jules Koundé cross.
