Manchester United took the lead through Casemiro early in the second half, but they were pegged back by Ross Barkley. Bruno Fernandes unlocked the away defence with an exceptional through ball, which was finished by Mattheus Cunha. The Brazilian has now played a key role in creating the third goal for his team.

Benjamin Sesko makes immediate impact

Sesko took advantage of a ricochet and put the ball in the back of a net, thanks to a deflection.

Sesko should have started the game

Manchester United created plenty of opportunities in the first half, and there were questions about whether Michael Carrick should have handed the Slovenian international a start. A clinical number nine could have made a big difference in the box, and Sesko has proven just that by scoring almost immediately after coming on.

Even though reflection played a key part in the goal, the Slovenian decision-making and movement were integral.
