Now, Barcelona legend Neymar has chimed in, offering his prediction for this riveting encounter at Camp Nou this evening.

Hours before the encounter, Neymar backed Barcelona to win against Newcastle United, with the Brazilian predicting a 3-1 win for the Blaugrana.

Neymar expects Raphinha to score a brace this evening, with Yamal to score the other goal. This comes just days after Raphinha had bagged a hat-trick in the win over Sevilla.

“My predictions for tonight? 3-1 Barcelona, two goals from Raphinha and one from Yamal,” said Neymar ahead of the game.

Neymar’s prediction about the Barcelona game comes on the back of his omission from the Brazil squad ahead of the international friendlies.

The veteran attacker has been trying hard to get into the Brazilian team for the upcoming FIFA World Cup but injuries haven’t been kind to him.

Carlo Ancelotti, though, hasn’t fully closed the door on him just yet and with Rodrygo injured for the foreseeable future, the Italian is ready to give Neymar the chance to return to the Brazil setup, provided he can do well in the two or three-month period before the World Cup.
