Spain are massive favourites to secure another victory in this 2026 World Cup qualifier against Georgia, and they are on course after taking an early lead at the Estadio Manuel Martínez Valero in Elche.

Luis de la Fuente further risked the ire of Barcelona and their supporters by starting Pedri, although it has paid dividends in the early stages.
