Former Blue Frank Leboeuf has admitted he’s a big fan of Estevao, but once again reiterated the need for patience with the youngster.
Chelsea agreed a deal worth up to £51.4m with Brazilian side Palmeiras in the summer of 2024, with Estevao finally joining after the Club World Cup.
The 18-year-old has made a big impact this season, and has scored five goals, including three in the Champions League.
Estevao is fit and available for Saturday’s game against Aston Villa, having missed the last two games with a muscle injury.
The Brazil international has rightly received a lot of plaudits this season, but Enzo Maresca has managed him carefully and resisted the urge to throw him straight in.
There have been calls for Estevao to start more regularly, but the teenager has still made 21 appearances in all competitions, with ten of those coming as starts.

There’s plenty more to come from Estevao, but former Blue Leboeuf has stressed the need for patience with the youngster.
“I wish him the best,” he told Goal.
“He seems to have a good head on top of the skills. Chelsea seem to be protecting him as well. He is young and you don’t want to launch him, I don’t think he is ready for that.
“He is a low-profile kind of guy, but loves showing off when he scores a goal. He wants to take on players.
“I love the guy, but he is still raw. We have to be patient and make sure that he matures the way he needs to, to become one of the top players in the world.”
Whilst Chelsea are very happy with Estevao, they have still be looking at other wide players, with one of those Antoine Semenyo.
