We Name the Seven Managers Who COULD Succeed at Rangers

Ibrox Noise would never pretend we know all the answers. Sure we got Russell Martin painfully right, but we’re not going to allege that we know the right man to take over at Rangers.
That said, like any Rangers fan group, we do have one or two preferences that we could get behind.
We are going to name all the managers that we would not block as potential new incumbents.
Yes, him again. Big name, big personality, and someone the players will work for. Hasn’t a clue about tactics or management, but if he’s given a good team of staff around him, it could work. Personality-wise he’s the biggest we’ve had since Walter. We would not object if he got the gig.
A brilliant hard knocks organiser, very much a defensive manager whose style is rather Walter. Will contain then hit on the break. Don’t expect pretty football under him but it would steady the ship and might just be hard core winning football. But then, he’s never managed at a club where every match is a must win.
Long shot because he’s got a job and doing brilliantly at it, but McInnes is the overall closest package to the complete Walter that we have in Scottish football. Seems destined for Ibrox one day but Rangers would have to give Hearts big compensation to get him. And he might not want to give Hearts up at the moment. We wouldn’t blame him.
Another one we lost in favour of Tofu Boy, but Priske is a dynamite manager who is the closest thing to succeeding in a Rangers-like situation. Which is what he’s done at Sparta Prague. Again, long shot, because he’s got a great job again. Our own fault.
Austrian Bundesliga champion, top boss with Borussia as well, he’s a great manager who understands pressure, and must win. We definitely wouldn’t say no to Marco Rose.
So many want him to get the gig, but our concern is he’s never deal with a firestorm like Rangers. He made Bodo/Glimt champs, but against the odds, zero expectation. Can he handle the pressure from the word off at Ibrox? We wouldn’t complain at him though.
Gets Rangers well enough, multiple champion in three different countries and is a former Ger. He’s clearly a good manager but how would HE cope with the goldfish bowl as a manager rather than the more laid-back overseas leagues he’s succeeded in? Many will argue ‘Angie’ but he’s been absolute mince since moving to England. He career peaked at Celtic and it’s been a fail since then. Again, we’d back Muscat.
There’s probably a few others we’d be able to get behind as well, but these ones are the main names.
