Former Chelsea winger Noni Madueke has been speaking on Arsenal versus Chelsea this weekend as top meets second.

Both clubs have been doing well in recent games, with Arsenal sitting comfortably on top of the Premier League table at the moment, and Chelsea below them after a good run in their last handful of games.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea now being ‘aggressive and bold’ in attempts to convince Arsenal star to join them!

This weekend sees them play each other for the first time this season, and it’s going to be a pretty tough game to call.

Chelsea are obviously on a high and full of confidence after beating Barcelona 3-0 at Stamford Bridge in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.

It was billed as the Estevao vs Yamal game, but the latter was nowhere to be seen all game and was even heavily criticised by his Spanish team mate afterwards.

But Estevao was just ‘extra special’ on the night, according to former Chelsea winger Pat Nevin, who was raving about the young Brazilian after the game.

As cited on X, Madueke said on facing Chelsea this weekend:

“I guess we shall see. First vs second. They have got a top team and we have got a top team. We shall see.”

An interesting one

I don’t think Chelsea fans were really upset when Madueke left to be honest, and now we have Estevao out there absolutely balling out. But I also don’t think there will be much hatred or animosity to the former Blues winger – it’s just a case of really not having much feelings either way on this one.

Many players have gone between these two clubs, and a lot of them have had a lot of stick whilst doing so. I’m not sure that Madueke will in this case though.
