Julian Malatini is close to completing a one-year loan from Werder Bremen to FC Cincinnati after uncertainty over his immediate future at the club.
Bild reports that all paperwork has now been signed, and the Argentine is scheduled to fly to the United States on Wednesday.

The move was announced in early September, but administrative hurdles, including the absence of a work permit, kept him training in Bremen as recently as last week.
The situation is not isolated, with David Doudera, a Czech-born full-back also signed by Cincinnati, awaiting a work visa.
Cincinnati are ninth in the Eastern Conference with 33 points from 27 matchdays.
