Wesley confirmed at Cruzeiro under Artur Jorge after Benfica interest | OneFootball

According to Glorioso 1904, Wesley has left Al Nassr to join Cruzeiro, coached by Artur Jorge, on loan until June 2027.

Benfica tracked the Brazilian in the winter window, but he instead moved on loan to Real Sociedad.

His impact in LaLiga was limited, only 84 minutes across five outings. Before that, he had scored four goals for Al Nassr by January, mostly as a substitute.

The former Corinthians player now returns to the Brasileirão with Cruzeiro. He was not in Ange Postecoglou’s plans for the season.

The Minas Gerais club have been in good form under the Portuguese, who replaced Tite mid-season, and sit seventh in the Brazilian top flight.

This year, Wesley has made nine appearances totalling 236 minutes, providing one assist and no goals.
