Wesley declares 'Meu lar para sempre' after visit to Parque São Jorge | OneFootball

Wesley posted an Instagram story from the entrance to Parque São Jorge. The player said in a post that it was “Meu lar para sempre”.

The forward progressed through Corinthians from under-13 level to a first-team debut in 2023. He made 85 appearances and scored seven goals. At youth level he won the Paulista Under-17 title, scoring in the shootout against Palmeiras.

In August 2024, Corinthians sold him to Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia for about $20 million, plus a further $5 million in bonuses.

His wish to return one day has been voiced before. In November 2025 he visited Neo Química Arena with João Cancelo, João Félix and Renan Lodi for the 2-2 draw with Botafogo, when he received a Corinthians shirt.

Early in 2026 he joined Real Sociedad on loan until the end of the European season in May. The Spanish club chose not to trigger the purchase clause, so he will return to Al-Nassr, where his contract runs until mid-2028.

Opportunities at Real Sociedad were limited, with five appearances and 84 minutes, and no goals or assists. Even so, he collected his first senior trophy as they beat Atlético Madrid on penalties to win the Copa del Rey.
