Wesley, a Corinthians academy graduate, has been unveiled by La Liga side Real Sociedad on loan from Al Nassr until the end of the European season.
According to Meu Timao, the Brazilian is borrowed until May, and Real Sociedad would need to pay 12 million euros, about R$ 75 million, to keep him permanently.
The forward said he is very happy to join, will give his all to meet the team’s objectives, contribute on both sides of the attack and help in every way he can.
Corinthians will not receive a fee from the loan. If he is sold, the club are due roughly 3% via FIFA’s solidarity mechanism. He came through at Corinthians from 12 to 19 before a 2024 move to Al Nassr for 20 million dollars, R$ 110 million at the time.
At Al Nassr he produced five goals and five assists in 40 appearances, alternating between starting and the bench. For Corinthians he recorded seven goals and four assists in 85 games.
Now nearing 21, Wesley will try to make his mark with Real Sociedad, who sit eighth in La Liga with 27 points. The club are also through to the Copa del Rey quarter-finals.
