The West African Football Union – Zone A has unveiled its 2026 competition schedule, selecting Mali as the host nation for the men’s under-20 championship.

Mali will stage this regional league, which serves as a qualifier for the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations, with the tournament set to run from October 6 to 25, 2026.

Having already demonstrated its organizational prowess during the U-17 tournament, Mali is gearing up once again to welcome Gambia, Guinea, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mauritania, Sierra Leone, and Senegal.
