James Morrison and George Campbell have been shortlisted for March's Championship awards, according to ExpressAndStar.com.

West Brom are unbeaten in six, a sequence that has lifted them four points clear of the dotted line with five matches left. Morrison is in charge until the end of the season.

It is the club's longest run since Tony Mowbray oversaw six unbeaten between February and March last year, which was followed by five defeats in six before his dismissal. Morrison is nominated for manager of the month alongside Matt Bloomfield of Oxford, Frank Lampard of Coventry and Tonda Eckert of Southampton.

The 39-year-old took eight points from four matches in March. Albion ended the month with back-to-back wins for the first time since August, beating Hull and Bristol City.

United States defender Campbell has been central to the upturn. Signed last summer from Montreal in Canada, he spent much of his debut Hawthorns campaign at right-back before Morrison moved him into central defence.

He helped deliver consecutive clean sheets in March and also made telling contributions at the other end. After an own goal in the draw at Sheffield United, he equalised with a strike from distance. He then headed the winner at Ashton Gate before the international break, his third goal in six games.

Campbell is up for player of the month with Derby's Matt Clarke, Millwall forward Josh Coburn and Southampton goalkeeper Daniel Peretz. Winners will be confirmed on Friday.
