West Brom midfielder Jayson Molumby has been banned by the Football Association from the club’s next five friendly matches.
Molumby was sent off when the Baggies took on Real Mallorca last month after headbutting, punching and then wrestling with an opponent.
And now the FA have taken the extraordinary step to ban the Ireland international for the Midlands side’s next five friendly games.
It means that Molumby will likely be unable to play for the entirety of next summer ahead of the 2025/26 season.
The 25-year-old has spent the past two years at the Hawthorns, becoming an integral player under coach Carlos Corberan.
