West Brom have moved to keep a cluster of youngsters with new offers, while also trimming their academy ranks.
Per ExpressAndStar.com, several prospects have been offered terms as part of end-of-season business. Kevin Mfuamba and Mo Diomande are among those released, with Dan Chimeziri, Evan Humphries, Miller McDonald, Deago Nelson, Torin Ntege, Donte German-Ranger, Adam Okorodudu and Liam Wilkes.
This week, academy graduate Morgan Rogers scored for Villa in their Europa League triumph, a reminder of the pathway West Brom want to protect.
Goalkeeper Cisse, 21 in September, saw injuries wreck much of 2025/26. The West Bromwich-born stopper has non-league loans and could push James Morrison’s first team if he stays.
Attack-minded Higgins, 21 this summer, comes off a solid League One loan at Exeter, albeit one ending in relegation.
Centre-back Mohammed, formerly of Peterborough, has impressed after serious knee injuries. The 20-year-old’s first senior loan at step four with Gloucester City ended in the play-offs.
Another keeper, aged 20, is the younger brother of Wrexham shot-stopper Arthur and joined after a successful trial having left Arsenal last year.
Forward Francis-Caesar recently turned 18 after moving from a London grassroots academy. There is excitement around a Dudley-born wing talent, recently 17, and Albion have secured McNeil on a two-year deal, with another big season possible.
New Zealand youth international Wallis, 21 next month, enjoyed plenty of first-team exposure this season.
