Lazio goalkeeper Christos Mandas is highly likely to leave the capital in the upcoming January transfer window, with interest from the Premier League intensifying, specifically from West Ham and Bournemouth, according to a report from LaLazioSiamoNoi.
Following a transfer registration block in the summer, Lazio must sell to buy in January, making capital gains crucial. Mandas, who had previously displaced Ivan Provedel under the former management, has found himself relegated to the bench since Maurizio Sarri returned.
The Greek goalkeeper, recognizing the need for consistent minutes for his development, has actively sought a move away from Rome with his entourage.
The interest from England is strong. LaLazioSiamoNoi reports that both West Ham and Bournemouth have recently made enquiries about the 22-year-old. This follows an attempt by Wolverhampton Wanderers, whose proposal was reportedly rejected by Lazio during the last summer window.
Getafe are now also an interested party, with the auction for the Greek set to take off.
