West Ham United and Burnley are each interested in a move for Sunderland's Ivorian winger Jocelin Ta Bi this summer
West Ham United and Burnley are exploring loan moves for Sunderland winger Jocelin Ta Bi this summer, with the 21-year-old likely to leave the Stadium of Light before the September deadline.
According to Sebastien Denis via X, both West Ham and Burnley are interested in moves for Sunderland's Ta Bi this summer.
However, the Championship duo face interest from the likes of Hull City, Le Havre, Nice and Lorient as well, as per Denis, with each club closely monitoring the situation in case he becomes available.

Ta Bi, 21, joined Sunderland in January 2026 from Israeli side Hapoel Petah Tikva for around £3.5 million, having scored seven and assisted five in 40 games for the club across all competitions during his time there.
The Ivorian penned a four-and-a-half-year deal on Wearside, and arrived to offer competition on the wings to the likes of Enzo Le Fee, Nilson Angulo, Romaine Mundle, Chemsdine Talbi, and Chris Rigg.
He'd essentially replace Simon Adingra upon his arrival, who joined Monaco on loan until the end of the season, and who has also been linked with a move to the Hammers this window.
However, Ta Bi would be limited to just two appearances in all competitions in his first six months at the Stadium of Light, and now could be heading out on loan, with both West Ham and Burnley among those monitoring the situation.

At 21, Ta Bi has not played a great deal of first team football, especially not at a high level, and remains unproven in England.
However, from his displays in the Israeli top flight, the Ivorian tempted Sunderland into paying £3.5 million for his services just over six months ago, and whilst he has failed to make an impact on Wearside, there is no reason why he couldn't in the Championship.
Best off the right where he can cut in on his left, Ta Bi would offer an alternative on that flank for Jarrod Bowen for West Ham, with his pace and flair providing a different option to the England international in that area.
Burnley have seen numerous important first-team players from last season leave the club following relegation, including both Jaidon Anthony and Loum Tchaouna, with Nicky Hayen yet to properly replace the wide duo.
Ta Bi, on a loan deal, offers major upside and little downside for both clubs, as should he prove to be cut above Championship level, they will have paid very little financially to secure a deal.
With numerous top-flight French clubs also circling, interest in Ta Bi is high, as West Ham and Burnley should be on red-hot alert in case Sunderland allow him to leave on loan before the end of the window.

West Ham and Burnley's summer windows took a while to get up to speed, but the deals are beginning to flow into both clubs now with less than two weeks remaining until the deadline.
The Hammers have added the likes of Joel Veltman, Manor Solomon, Arne Englels, and Joel Piroe to their ranks thus far, whilst Burnley have signed each of Ugo Raghouber, Max Alleyne, and Dastan Satpaev, the latter two on loan.
The Clarets appear to be closing in on a deal to sign former Sheffield United defender Anel Ahmedhodzic from Feyenoord to further bolster their defensive options, as more are expected through the doors over the coming weeks, though whether Ta Bi will be one of those, remains to be seen.
