West Ham United defender Aaron Cresswell is expected to leave the club at the end of the season when his contract expires.
The 34-year-old has been a loyal servant for the club and the Hammers could offer him a player-coach role to keep him at the club.
A report from Football Insider claims that it remains a possibility that he will stay at West Ham next season. The Hammers could offer him a new one-year contract soon.
It will be interesting to see if the 34-year-old is willing to accept such a role. He was expected to move on at the start of the season but he ended up staying at the London club.

It is unlikely that he will be a regular starter with the Hammers next season and it remains to be seen whether he is ready to accept a bit part role. If he wants to play regularly, he will have to leave West Ham and join another club in the summer.
On a free transfer, the 34-year-old could prove to be a useful acquisition for most mid-table clubs.
