Graham Potter has said he has no reason not to think he has the support of the board after West Ham’s 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace.

Potter is under increasing pressure following West Ham’s fourth defeat in five league games and admitted everyone at the club was finding the situation hard.

“I have no reason to think not, but I also understand the environment, I also understand the results, but I have no complaints at all with the support that we've had and the support from the supporters, from everybody at the club really,” Potter told reporters at full-time.

“I think everyone's finding it tough because that's reality. It's not an easy situation.

“There's no point getting away from that, but then the opportunity is to work through it, to find the answer, to find the solution, and then be stronger for the experience.”

West Ham remain in the relegation zone following their defeat to Palace, with Potter running out of time to turn things around.

It’s been reported that West Ham are considering other managerial options to replace Potter, but the 50-year-old said he remained convinced he was the man to lead the club forward.

“We're in a tough situation. There's no getting away from that,” Potter continued.

“I think the only thing you can do is front it up, be honest with it. We want to do better than we are, and at the moment we're not.

“So, we have to find a solution. We have to work, we have to stick together, and we have to find those answers.”
