West Ham United have enquired about signing Tottenham Hotspur ace Manor Solomon in January, according to El Periodico Mediterraneo.
The Hammers are scouring the market for attacking reinforcement and have eyes on the Spurs left-sided winger who is on loan at Villarreal.
He is unhappy in Spain, paving the way for West Ham to swoop for his signature.
He could return to Tottenham in the winter window following his uninspiring loan and join West Ham for the rest of the season.
West Ham find themselves in 18th place on the Premier League table and need reinforcement as they bid to climb out of the danger zone.
Solomon has emerged as a concrete option for the East London side after making just four La Liga appearances this term, netting once.
Last term, he had taken the Championship by storm, recording 10 goals and 12 assists to help Leeds United gain promotion.
However, Leeds did not make the deal permanent, and he returned to Spurs before heading out on loan.
Solomon would give West Ham another terrific option on the left wing, pushing Crysencio Summerville for a starting berth.
He is an ‘outstanding’ option to have on the flank for Hammers boss Nuno Espirito Santo.
If Solomon can rediscover the blistering form he showed at Leeds, he could be a fantastic pick-up for West Ham.
The Hammers are crying out for direct, powerful players who can drive at defenders and create chances from nothing, qualities Solomon brings in abundance.
His pace, dribbling, and end product would add a much-needed spark to a side that has often looked one-dimensional in attack.
Under Nuno, he could rediscover his confidence and rhythm, especially with a regular run of games.
West Ham’s survival hopes hinge on their ability to inject energy and purpose into the final third.
Solomon could be exactly the kind of dynamic addition to help them turn their season around.
