The Hammers were handed their second-tier fixture list on Thursday, knowing that they will face fellow relegated side Burnley in their opening league game.

Now that the East London outfit have their Championship schedule, Nuno Espirito Santo can speed up his planning for the upcoming season.

However, West Ham's squad is set to look very different by August, as players who proved their worth in the Premier League are unlikely to want to remain at the London Stadium in the second tier.

Football League World takes a look at nine players who could leave the Hammers next month.

Malick Diouf

Malick Diouf only signed for Espirito Santo's side last summer, but the left-back was one of his side's best players in the Premier League in the 2025/26 season, notching five top-flight assists.

The 21-year-old has subsequently featured for Senegal in the World Cup and made a decent account of himself when his international team lost to France.

Meanwhile, The Guardian revealed in May that Diouf had emerged as a Manchester United transfer target, meaning he may leave the London Stadium once he returns from the World Cup.

Konstantinos Mavropanos

West Ham had a poor defence in the Premier League last season, conceding 65 goals, and some underwhelming performances from Konstantinos Mavropanos played their part in that.

The Hammers want to keep Mavropanos, but his future is uncertain, as reported by the West Ham Way earlier in June.

He joined the London Stadium outfit in the summer of 2023 following their Conference League triumph, and would not have expected to find himself in the Championship three years later.

Jean-Clair Todibo

As per the West Ham Way's aforementioned report, Jean-Clair Todibo is expected to have already played his last game for the Hammers, having most recently featured in May's 3-1 defeat to Newcastle United.

Todibo has also played top-flight football for Toulouse, Barcelona, Schalke, and Nice, so perhaps it is no surprise that he is seeking an exit following his side's relegation to the Championship.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Aaron Wan-Bissaka has plenty of Premier League experience thanks to his time with Crystal Palace, Man United and West Ham, while he has featured in this summer's World Cup for DR Congo.

The fact that he played his part in DR Congo's surprising 1-1 draw with Portugal on 17 June will have raised his stock, should he push for a move away from the London Stadium.

BBC Sport have revealed that Everton are keen on Wan-Bissaka as well as Tottenham Hotspur's Djed Spence, as they vie to bolster their right-back options.

Max Kilman

Max Kilman is another West Ham defender who could be on the move this summer, even though he also played under Espirito Santo at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Ipswich Town are interested in Kilman, according to Football Insider, while the 29-year-old made 21 Premier League appearances for the East Londoners last season.

Mateus Fernandes is seemingly set to leave the London Stadium sooner rather than later, having attracted very high-profile interest this summer.

, as per The Mirror, while the former Southampton midfielder has attracted interest from Man United and Tottenham.

Tomas Soucek has established himself as a modern-day Hammers hero, having been one of their top performers since joining from Slavia Prague in 2020.

The 31-year-old suffered a serious injury during Czechia's 3-0 defeat to Mexico in the World Cup, but his years of Premier League experience could still lead to a move away from the London Stadium.

Football Insider reported in March that Everton boss David Moyes wants to reunite with his former West Ham player in Merseyside.

Crysencio Summerville

Crysencio Summerville already appeared likely to leave Espirito Santo's side this summer, having performed better than the majority of his teammates in the Premier League last term.

The 24-year-old went on to notch two goals and an assist in the World Cup group stage for the Netherlands, proving he is far too good for the Championship.

???????Jarrod Bowen

Jarrod Bowen is a firm fan favourite at West Ham, while his father-in-law, Danny Dyer, is also a big Hammers supporter.

However, Aston Villa and Everton are both interested in Bowen, who has proven himself as a capable Premier League performer over the years.

???????Callum Wilson

Callum Wilson agreed a one-year contract extension with the Hammers in March, according to The Telegraph, but he appears set to leave the East London club.

He penned a goodbye message to West Ham via Instagram in May, as he wrote: "For now, all I can say is thank you. Thank you to everyone who supported us. Your passion is amazing, and I truly hope you return to the Premier League, where you belong, as soon as possible.
