Nayef Aguerd
In England, things are moving for Moroccan international Nayef Aguerd at West Ham. The Hammers no longer seem to want the services of the Moroccan defender.
This summer, Marseille are looking to sign a world-class central defender, and the Phocaeans have singled out Nayef Aguerd as a top target for this transfer window. This comes at the perfect time, as West Ham’s management have no intention of holding onto the Moroccan international.
Medhi Benatia, OM’s sporting advisor, reportedly hasn’t given up on the Aguerd pursuit. With two years left on his contract, the Moroccan is keen to leave West Ham in search of stability at another club ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
Back from his loan at Real Sociedad, Nayef Aguerd—who has also caught the eye of Juventus—looks set to depart the Hammers, who are not expected to stand in his way. According to information from GiveMeSport, the English club is ready to let Nayef Aguerd go if a suitor comes forward with an offer of €23 million.
The same source indicates that West Ham have ruled out the possibility of a loan or player swap, as they are intent on selling the defender outright.
