Some 99 days since the beginning of the Premier League 2025-26 season, we finally have our first registered goalkeeper assist.
The honour goes to West Ham's Alphonse Areola, who on Saturday against Bournemouth moved outside his box and hit a long ball toward an alert and agile Callum Wilson.
The 33-year-old striker then cushioned the ball down off his chest and impressively volleyed home for the opener after just 12 minutes.
How many goalkeeper assists do you think we will have by the end of the season? Let us know in the comments below.
