West Ham retain interest in €25m-rated Charlie Cresswell | OneFootball

Over the past 18 months, Charlie Cresswell (23) has excelled in France. The England youth international joined Toulouse FC from formative club Leeds United back in the summer of 2024 in search of game time. 

Not only has he been a regular for Le TéFéCé, he has also become one of Ligue 1’s best centre-backs in that time. This season, just like the last, he has been an ever-present for Carles Martínez Novell’s side, playing 16 league games and scoring three goals in that time.

Cresswell is now being linked with a move back to his native England. He was the subject of an approach from West Ham United late in the summer transfer window, and the Hammers have retained that interest, ahead of the opening of the January window, according to a report from The Athletic.

However, prising him away from Toulouse won’t be easy, with the French club valuing the defender at €25m.
