West Ham have confirmed that Pedro Obiang has joined Serie A side Sassuolo for an undisclosed fee.
The 27-year-old midfielder returns to Italy four years after joining the Hammers from Sampdoria.

The Equatorial Guinea international managed three goals in 116 appearances in east London – one of which was later voted the club’s 2017/18 Goal of the Season.
He becomes Sassuolo’s ninth new signing of the summer so far.
