West Ham have confirmed the loan signing of Keiber Lamadrid from Deportivo La Guaira for the remainder of the 2025-26 season.

The 22-year-old will join the London club with an option to buy in the summer, though financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

Speaking at a press conference, manager Nuno Espírito Santo said the club continues to focus on securing talent for the future while balancing the current squad. He highlighted recent additions Taty Castellanos and Pablo Felipe, saying the priority is “to rebalance the squad” rather than detailing Lamadrid’s immediate role.

Lamadrid, a Venezuelan international with one senior cap, scored eight goals and provided seven assists for Deportivo La Guaira last season. While he is not expected to feature regularly for West Ham this term, the loan offers him a chance to gain experience in the Premier League and develop under the club’s guidance.
