Nuno Espirito Santo is under mounting scrutiny at West Ham United, with the club said to be weighing up his position before Nottingham Forest visit. According to talkSPORT, West Ham could consider sacking him if results do not improve quickly.
The Portuguese was dismissed by Forest in September, then took the Hammers job little more than a fortnight later. The sides are due to meet at the London Stadium next Tuesday.
West Ham are winless in seven league matches and sit 18th. Slaven Bilic is said to be a potential contender if a change is made, having managed the club between 2015 and 2017 and been in the frame before Nuno’s appointment.
Before that reunion, Forest host Everton tomorrow, Tuesday, then travel to high-flying Aston Villa on Saturday.
West Ham face Brighton and Hove Albion at home, then visit Wolverhampton Wanderers, in their fixtures before welcoming the Reds. Nuno has overseen just two wins in 13 matches since succeeding Graham Potter.
Both teams are battling at the wrong end of the table going into the new year. Forest are 17th, five points ahead of the Hammers. Dyche is Forest’s third manager of the season and has seven wins from 14 in all competitions, though Saturday’s defeat to Manchester City made it back-to-back losses for the first time.
