A special evening for Weston McKennie who, three days after Manuel Locatelli, becomes the second player currently in the Juventus squad to reach the prestigious milestone of 200 matches played wearing the Juventus shirt.
The American midfielder, who arrived in Turin back in August 2020, made his Juventus debut in the first Serie A match of the 2020/21 season against Sampdoria, and has carved out a key role for himself in the team over the years. McKennie, thanks to his versatility, has played in every position on the pitch when needed, playing on the right, the left, and in the centre, across defence, midfield, and attack.
His reading of the game and ability to get into the box at the right time have allowed him to score 19 goals for Juventus so far - seven of which were scored in the Champions League, the last of which was away against Bodo/Glimt - and 19 assists, making him the third-highest scorer for Juventus among the players in the current squad.
And now, in the Italian Cup match against Udinese, another important milestone in his career at Juventus has been reached: congratulations on 200 appearances Wes!
