Tottenham Hotspur legend Graham Roberts is delighted with the Spurs supporters from Thursday night and hailed the team for a great result against Bodo/Glimt.

Spurs are going through a terrible Premier League campaign as they will not be able to go anywhere near the top half of the table.

However, they can still end the season with glory and have the chance to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

They took a big step towards it, as they defeated Norwegian outfit Bodo/Glimt 3-1 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the first leg of the Europa League semi-finals.

Roberts is delighted with Tottenham’s big win and he believes that the north London side will now march on towards the Europa League final.

The Spurs legend is also impressed with the atmosphere of Tottenham’s home as he hailed the fans for getting behind the team.

“What an atmosphere last night it was amazing from our fantastic supporters”, Roberts wrote on X about Tottenham’s 3-1 win over Bodo/Glimt.

“Got behind the team great result half the job done.

“Come on boys we can do this COYS.”

Tottenham will go to Norway next week to face Bodo/Glimt, and they will hope to get the job done to place themselves in the Europa League final.

Ange Postecoglou would be able to turn the tables if he is able to help Spurs win the Europa League after a horrendous domestic campaign.
