Corinthians host Taubaté at Fazendinha at 18:30 on Wednesday in the final round of the first phase of the Campeonato Paulista Feminino. With knockout qualification already secured, Emily Lima's side still need results elsewhere to jump straight to the semi-finals.
According to Meu Timao, the 2026 competition uses a single round-robin between eight teams, seven matches each. The top two go directly to the semi-finals, third to sixth contest two-legged play-ins, with the better campaign hosting the second leg. The bottom two meet for the Copa Paulista title.
Corinthians are fourth on 10 points from three wins, two defeats and one draw. São Paulo are third on 12, with Palmeiras and Ferroviária on 13 in second and first. A direct route remains possible, but they must beat Taubaté, ideally by a healthy margin to lift their goal difference, currently eight.
They would also need Palmeiras to lose to Red Bull Bragantino at Arena Barueri and end the round pointless. In addition, São Paulo must draw with Ferroviária at Arena Fonte Luminosa, or Ferroviária must win.
If the play-in is required, the current opponent would be Red Bull Bragantino, who sit fifth. Those ties are slated for 18 and 20 November, around a month after the Women's Libertadores.
