According to an update from Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has taken a few days off for personal reasons after holding two important meetings with his players in the aftermath of the team’s 1-4 defeat to Sevilla.
The defeat at the Sanchez Pizjuan was a painful one for the Blaugrana, marking their second consecutive loss following the Champions League setback against Paris Saint-Germain.
Determined to address the situation swiftly, Flick met with his squad twice, first on Sunday, with players who were due to leave for their international duties, and then again on Monday with those remaining in Barcelona.
These meetings were described as honest and constructive, as Flick sought to lift the spirits of his players while demanding a stronger collective response after a disappointing run of results.
According to the outlet, Flick remains fully confident in his project and believes that the current struggles are more mental than tactical or physical.

It must be noted that the squad has played seven matches in just 21 days, and Flick feels the intensity of this schedule has taken a toll on his players’ concentration and confidence.
That is precisely why Flick views the international break as an opportunity for the squad to regroup and recover both physically and mentally.
He has encouraged his players to use this short break to reset, disconnect from the pressure, and return with renewed focus and energy.
When Flick returns to work next Monday, he is expected to lead training with a strong emphasis on mental resilience and tactical clarity.
His message is that Barcelona must turn the page on this poor start to October and respond with character.
