The Terriers have received plenty of praise for their actions ahead of their fixtures against the Welsh side
Huddersfield Town have received mass praise for reciprocating the cheap ticket prices now on offer for their own supporters from Cardiff City, ahead of a rescheduled League One fixture at the start of next month.
The two League One sides will now lock horns at the Cardiff City Stadium on December 6th at 12:30PM, with the original fixture pencilled in for Saturday, November 15th.
Rather unsurprisingly, though, the aforementioned date was initially postponed on Thursday evening, due to the high-flying Bluebirds seeing enough players called up for duty over the course of the imminent international break for Brian Barry-Murphy to request such developments as Dylan Lawlor, Ronan Kpakio and brothers Rubin and Joel Colwill were all announced in Craig Bellamy's latest Wales squad.
An early kick-off and lengthy trek from West Yorkshire was hardly the ideal news which Town supporters were hoping for when learning of the revised date and time, which has been selected due to neither side progressing into the second round of the FA Cup, having suffered defeats to Peterborough United and Bolton Wanderers last weekend respectively.
As unkind as the new lunchtime kick-off may sound, it is due to regulations which do not allow for League One fixtures to commence during the commonplace 3PM window, although it will now be broadcast on Sky Sports+ as a result.
However, when noticing the gesture of goodwill from their divisional rivals, Town earned praise of their own for taking the same course of action well in advance of the return fixture which takes place at the Accu Stadium on March 28th.

After details of the revised date and kick-off time in South Wales at the start of last month, it was later revealed that the two clubs had agreed to reciprocate ticket prices for both sets of visiting supporters at the Cardiff City Stadium and Accu Stadium respectively.
This is to ease the pressure of costs for loyal supporters to make what is an approximately 448-mile round trip between both grounds, and one which takes a combined eight hours and 56 minutes.
As such, adult tickets for the fixtures will only set supporters back £10, whilst concessions are at the even cheaper price of £5.
Unsurprisingly, this has drawn praise from those with affinities to either of the League One promotion hopefuls, as well as supporters of clubs elsewhere.
In reaction to such news, one Town supporter kept it short and sweet in his summary, echoing the thoughts of many with: "That's superb."
Another Terriers fan believes that this is the latest action in a long line which showcases the good work put in place by Kevin Nagle when it comes to off-pitch developments, albeit recent on-pitch results have left way more to be desired.
One supporter stated that it certainly made the long journey to the Welsh capital more attractive.
Unsurprisingly, plenty of Cardiff fans made their feelings clear, with one hoping it would set a precedent amongst all EFL clubs.
Another praised the actions of both clubs.

Both sides were tipped for automatic promotion back to the Championship by many, with Cardiff featuring at third-tier level for the first time since 2002/03, whilst Kevin Nagle heavily backed Lee Grant in the summer following the Terriers' disastrous end to last season.
At present, it is the Welsh side who are faring the better, as they sit third on 26 points with a game in hand over Stockport County and Bradford City in the automatic promotion places.
Town are six places and seven points behind their counterparts, having suffered an indifferent run of form following a fast start to Grant's tenure, which has led to sack calls.
There is plenty of football still to be played ahead of the first meeting between the two sides, but it's no surprise that supporters and the wider footballing community have praised them for off-pitch actions which are seemingly a rarity in the modern game.
