An update on the wellbeing of Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has this weekend come to the fore online.

And the news will no doubt be met with widespread excitement on the part of those of a Blancos persuasion…

Frontman Mbappé has of course not played a minute of Real Madrid’s campaign at the FIFA Club World Cup to date.

This comes after the Frenchman was struck down by a bout of illness.

As much proved serious enough to see Mbappé admitted to a hospital in the USA, confirming the extent of his fever.

The 26-year-old is understood to have lost between four and five kilos in weight over the last couple of weeks.

Safe to say, then, that all associated with Real Madrid will no doubt be delighted to hear of the latest word stemming from the club’s camp in the USA.

Xabi Alonso’s troops have been pencilled in for a knockout showdown with Italian heavyweights Juventus in the next round of the Club World Cup this coming week.

And as per a report from Diario AS, having now returned to training as normal:

‘Mbappé will be available against Juve.’
