What Italian media thinks of the latest Kolo Muani performance

Randal Kolo Muani was again disappointing as he led the line for Juventus in their match against AC Milan, a game that the Old Lady failed to win.

The match ended in a 1-1 draw, but the men in black and white will wish they had won and probably deserved to win the fixture because they were the better of the two teams.

Kolo Muani remains their starting frontman despite the arrival of Nick Woltemade, and the attacker did his best, but he fired blanks again.

Since his much-awaited return to the club, Kolo Muani has not been in fine form, and the attacker knows he simply has to improve for the team.

Juve continues to do their best to ensure that the team provides him with enough balls, but against Milan, he simply could not make the difference, just as has been the case in his other matches.

The attacker has to perform better, and his poor performance did not earn him a good rating or positive comments, as Calciomercato rated the Bianconeri stars who played in the match.

About the former PSG man, after rating him 5/10, they wrote:

“Starts by touching very few balls forward and losing one that could have been bloody in the black and white attacking midfield. He isn’t always as precise in his control of the ball, even at the start of the second half, as he also attempts a wishful backheel dribble on a beautiful ball served to him by Conceicao. In the second half he continued along the same lines, poorly controlling the ball, always playing with his back to goal and never finding the way to shoot.”

Kolo Muani struggles to make an impact

The assessment reflects Kolo Muani’s difficulties in the match, with the attacker struggling to influence the game from the front. Despite Juventus providing him with opportunities to contribute, he could not find a way to create the decisive moment.

His inability to threaten Milan’s goal added to what has been a difficult period since his return to Juventus. The Bianconeri continue to rely on him as their starting frontman, but he has yet to produce the performances expected of him.

Juventus need more from their striker

Kolo Muani will need to improve if he is to remain the preferred option in attack, particularly following the arrival of Woltemade. Juventus are doing their best to supply him with the ball, but the attacker must make more of those opportunities.

The draw against Milan was another occasion when the Bianconeri could not get the required contribution from their frontman. Juventus may have been the better team, but Kolo Muani was unable to provide the finishing touch they needed.

For now, the attacker remains an important part of the team, but his performances must improve if Juve are to get the best from their attacking options.
